Overall Condition: Excellent Condition Details: Nice aged Patina Excellent Condition Weight: 5lb 8oz Measurements (LxWxH): 4 inches x 4 inches x 10.75 inches We are pleased to offer this spectacular original 19th century bronze statuette by noted sculptor F.P. de Tavera. It is properly signed and dated to 1890, and is entitled C''est Mi. It is in wonderful condition and has a brilliant patina. Sotheby''s Colonade lists a sale of one of these statues in April of 1994 with an estimate of 800 Pounds (~ $1,200), and an actual price realize of ~ 735 Pounds w/ premium (about $1,100). Fine bronzes have increased in value significantly over the last 10-15 years. This would be an excellent buy in the $1,500 range.
