Overall Condition: Good / Very Good Weight: 19lb Measurements (LxWxH): 21 inches x 31 inches x 2 inches This is a wonderful antique Southern mirror frame that dates to the early Victorian period. Made of Mahogany it has mitered corners and the Ogee, or S-shaped, profile that was emblematic of the Early Victorian era. Made in North Carolina, this massive mirror is signed and dated on the reverse in a very distinctive script : M. P. Brown, ca. 1844. It comes from the estate of a prominent Athens Georgia gentleman.
