Reality Publishing had the honor of appearing on the Today Show with Bella, Linda McCuean and the Reality Staff early this year. Bella was judged as the Best of the Best quilt of 2006, in the $100,000 Quilting Challenge Magazine open contest, judged by National Quilting Assoiciation certified judges. The $100,000 Quilting Challenge Magazine is published by Reality Publishing LLC, and the innovative format is designed to challenge a complete range of quilting techniques, as evidenced by participation of 10 separate categories of quilting. Each issue selects separate winners from all of the 10 categories, and those winners receive fantastic prize packages and are qualified for the grand prize of $100,000 at years end. With thousands of participants from all across America, winning the Grand Prize is a breathtaking accomplishment! Bella is a Stunning floral and grape motif with machine quilted details so real, one can almost taste the grapes and smell the flowers. All this is accomplished on a cream cotton sateen, with a spectacular scalloped edge, and beige toile adorning the back of the quilt, making it a complete visual showcase. In June 2007, Ms. McCuean became a certified member of the NQA Master Quilters Guild when Bella received the distinguished honor of being designated a Masterpiece Quilt by NQA certified judges.
